Walnut Creek Animal Clinic is a full service small animal clinic. We provide services such as surgery, radiology, dentistry, laboratory testing and examinations. When you first arrive you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists. This is the hub of our clinic. The receptionists have a variety of responsibilities including answering phone calls and scheduling appointments. They will also be happy to guide you back to one of our three exam rooms for your scheduled appointment.

We are an accredited hospital member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This membership means we have been inspected by AAHA to ensure our facilities, capabilities, procedures and patient care meet the rigid AAHA standards. We constantly strive not only to meet but exceed these standards.

A well equipped laboratory provides timely and accurate results for most routine health screening and emergency laboratory testing. It also provides us the capability of performing pre-anesthetic bloodwork the day of your pets’ surgery.

Our surgery suite is equipped with an isoflurane anesthesia machine. All of our patients’ blood pressures, heart rates, respiratory rates, temperatures, oxygenation levels and electrocardiograms (ECG) are all carefully monitored throughout the entire procedure by our veterinary technicians. Additionally, all of our surgery patients are provided IV fluids while they are undergoing their procedures to help them maintain their blood pressures under anesthesia.

In addition, runs and kennel space are furnished for hospitalization and observation of ill animals or boarding of well animals during their owner's absence. Bathing facilities are also available. Our facility is protected by a fire sprinkler system and a 24 hour monitored alarm system.
