Tricia Latimer received her undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
degrees from Texas A & M. Both degrees were awarded with honors. She
practiced veterinary medicine in

Courtney Blair grew up in the
Dr.
Silvia Duncan grew up on a farm in the
Claudia
is our practice manager and also works as a technician. She has been a part of
our practice for seven years and brings a wealth of experience from working in
another practice. She has worked in the field of veterinary medicine for over
15 years. Claudia, her husband John and son Kyle share their home with Simon, a
Siamese. In her time away from the clinic, Claudia enjoys playing with her son
and working in her yard at home.
Mary is
one of our Veterinary Assistants and has been with the clinic for over 18
years. She lives in
Debbie
is a registered Veterinary Nurse. She grew up in Stephenville, but has lived in
the Metroplex for several years. She will gladly show
you pictures of her dogs Haley, Sadie and Shelby. She and her husband Brian
live in Arlington with their son, Brandon, her dogs and four cats Jasper,
Blackjack, Tigger and Gracie. Debbie has a special
interest in animal behavior and has been helping clients at Walnut Creek for
over 10 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and
friends, scrap booking and playing on the computer. She graduated from Cedar
Valley in May 1996.
Shirley
is new to our practice. She has three children Hunter, Tyler, and Karlee. Shirley enjoys archery, reading, and various
crafts. Her passion is animal dentistry and behavior. She loves watching her
children being silly and learning to grow.
Danielle
has been with our practice since April of 2002 and is one of our veterinary
assistant. She is a great help to the whole staff. She is studying to be a
registered nurse at Tarrant County College. She loves to hang out with her
friends when not working with us.
Keri
began working at our clinic in May of 2005 as a veterinary assistant, but is
now a Veterinary Technician. Her family is composed of her husband Paul, son
Brendan, her newest family member, Jacob. Keri has a farm that includes her labrador Ashley, her Great Pyrenees named Polar Bear, a
Thoroughbred named Remington, a Quarter Horse named Diva and about 20 pygmy
goats. She is an Army veteran of 8 years. She graduated Cedar Valley in May
2007 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Keri enjoys showing her Pygmy
goats, reading, and working the farm.
Stephanie
is a new part of our staff. She is working as a veterinary assistant while
getting her RVT and working towards a bachelor’s degree. Stephanie has a
husband, Shane, and a daughter Autumn. She also has a variety of animal in her
household. She has 3 dogs, Beowulf, Ladybug, Freyja;
2 cats, G.K. and Yar; her Flemish Giant rabbits; and
lots of Koi fish. Stephanie enjoys gardening, raising
all her animal kids, traveling, Renaissance festivals, historical costuming,
photography, and belly dancing.
Mikel Westerlage comes to us from years working with children.
She lives in
Valerie
started with us in 2000 as a high school student then left for College Station
in 2002. She returned to UTA in 2004 and is a junior studying business with
plans to complete an MBA and work in Human Resources. Valerie rejoined our team
in 2004 and is a receptionist. She enjoys her family, friends, pets and working
with arts and crafts.
Deanna McSpadden has worked at the clinic since February 2001 as a
part time receptionist. She shares her home with her husband Michael, who is
serving as a councilman for the City of Mansfield, her daughters Sarah and
Allison and her son Jonathan. She also tries to keep up with her Jack Russell
Terrier Kaylee and her Schnauzer mix Kobee. In her spare time she enjoys scuba diving, bunko,
web surfing, horseback riding and watching her son's baseball games. Her and
her family are active members of Trailwood Baptist
Church which Deanna joined 21 years ago.
Jeannie
has been a client and friend for many years as well as being one of our receptionists.
She loves to travel with her husband Jim. They have three dogs, one bird and
many fish
Leta is the newest
member of our receptionist team, she joined Walnut Creek in April 2007. She and
her husband Jarred share their home with 3 Australian Shepherds (Jaxee, Tango and Merlin), 2 adorable Chihuahuas named
Ladybug and Vegas, and two cats named Frankie and Tracer. In her time away from
the clinic she enjoys Equestrian show jumping, walking and playing with her
dogs, gardening/yard work and home improvement projects.
Lisa is
an intricate part of our staff. She started working with us April 2007. Lisa is
a wonderful animal caretaker for us. She has 2 of the cutest dogs and a
devotion to help animals.
Kim is
one of our animal caretakers and has been with the clinic since 2004. Her
husband Scott is a pastor that travels the globe and they are both a big part
of Open Door Ministries in Joshua. Open Door Ministries holds outreaches every
other Saturday. They help support other churches and orphanages around the
world and are currently helping to build a new church in Africa. Kim has four
children, Dustin, Tiffany, Cody and Cori as well as
three boxers Abraham, Savannah and Zoey and several
cats (Lucy, Blackie, Silky, Leo, Smokey, Oreo and Tango) which keep her busy at
home. In her spare time she enjoys camping, fish, traveling and helping other
people.
Kasie recently
graduated high school in the Spring of 2008.
She loves animals. She has a border collie Cinch, an Australian shepherd
Baron, cows/bulls, and a few exotic birds. When not working hard here, Kasie hangs out with her friends.
Amber is
a high school student who loves her job and her animals. She has a German
Shepard Skii, a Lhasa Apso Snuffy, a Beta fish Oscar, a
Ferret Sammy, and a Cockapoo named Lexie. We really
appreciate her devotion to our patients as they have so many requirements for
their time.
Sydney
recently graduated high school in the Spring of 2008. She has two Chihuahuas
named Sophie and Lucy. She also has a Rat Terrier named Charlie. She is extremely helpful with all of our
patients and is very caring.
